American Idol 7 – Top 10 Results (updated w/ video clips)

Bottom three – Chikezie, Syesha Mercado, Jason Castro
Eliminated – Chikezie

So here we go again with a group medley and it sounds pretty good – WOW – Brooke has these really bright baby blue pants that you can see a mile away… hopefully tonight’s show won’t be as boring and full of fillers like the past couple of ones… already on to commercial… tonight’s special performer will be Kimberly Locke from Season 2…

Back from commercial and we get to see how the idols record their stuff for iTunes – its kinda interesting and they all have their own iPod :) So with a recap of last night’s performances we should be getting to the results soon…

  • Chikezie – bottom 3
  • Brooke White – safe
  • Carly Smithson – she put the rumors to rest – she is not pregnant! and she is safe

So I got one of the bottom 3 right, will the next 2 be Ramiele and Kristy… Back from commercial and another Ford commercial – “I Want You To Want Me”

  • David Archuleta – safe
  • David Cook – safe – Chris Cornell loved the performance, it was version David had used (now they say what version was used, after the whole Doxology thingy, I guess they don’t want a repeat of that …)
  • Syesha Mercado – bottom 3
  • Michael Johns – safe

Next week the Top 9 will be meeting Dolly Parton… man I have this feeling that Kristy Lee Cook is going to make it so that she can sing country week with Dolly… and then she will probably be around for another week after that… More call in questions for the idols and judges… and now for a performance from Kimberly Locke after a short video of what she has been up to…

Kimberly looked really good and I find she sounded amazing… from the video we get to find out that she owns a restaurant. She is a busy woman…

  • Ramiele Malubay – safe
  • Jason Castro – bottom 3 – what a shocker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Kristy Lee Cook – safe

Oh man! I can’t believe Jason is bottom 3, he is totally shocked and rambling, finally Ryan lets him know he is safe – THANK GOD!!!! Simon said that Chikezie chose the wrong song that is why he is bottom 3….it was the highest vote so far – Syesha is safe – Chikezie is going home…
